November 26, 2018

Giving Tuesday is a day where people across the world join the movement of generosity and give back to the causes they care about. As a company born from nature, TropicSport is passionate about giving back to like-minded organizations and caring for the Earth’s fragile oceans, reefs and beaches. Here’s a little about how we’ve given back this year:

The Surfrider Foundation: Dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches through a powerful activist network. They have a network of 81 Chapters and 85 Youth Clubs around the country to carry out their mission through campaign, program and educational initiatives in local communities. This year, in addition to being an official partner,  TropicSport has donated $25,000 to The Surfrider Foundation in support of their initiatives.

USA Water Polo: With a focus on growing the sport of water polo throughout the United States, USA Water Polo’s One Commitment To Excellence fund helps them achieve just that. This year, TropicSport has donated $10,000 to support their initiatives.

Malibu, Paradise, and LA Fire Departments: 2018 has seen one of the most destructive wildfire seasons to date, burning over 1.6 million acres. While we may not be able to physically help fight these fires, we can support the people who do. Earlier this month, TropicSport made a huge donation of sunscreen and lip balm to protect the brave firefighters who were out there working tirelessly to minimize damage and loss.
